Let’s welcome our new colleague: Laurent Chmiel (he/him) (consultant, OBIS Community Engagement Officer)

Laurent has over 10 years of experience in communications, including in European Research Infrastructures, European projects, and science for policy interfaces.

Joining the Secretariat as a consultant, Laurent will contribute to enhance the OBIS team’s capabilities in community engagement, partnerships, and outreach and support the community in its development at strategic and operational levels. Laurent can be reached at l.chmiel@unesco.org.
