The OBIS secretariat is  recruiting a consultant “OBIS Community Engagement and Communication Officer”

The OBIS Community Engagement and Communication Officer will support the OBIS Secretariat by providing administrative, community and communication support across various activities. In addition, from January 2026 the communications officer will be responsible for outreach and communication activities of the eDNA expeditions II project.

The Officer will work under the supervision of the OBIS Programme Component Manager and in close collaboration with the OBIS Secretariat, Steering Group cochairs,

and co-chairs of the OBIS coordination groups to ensure effective engagement and smooth operations.
